Why is it that it's such a no-no to go on a blind date here (all dating websites blocked), while its all good and acceptable to get a AED 300 ho from one of the numerous seedy nightclubs?

Is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture?

oh just go onto face book and add the are you interested, flit, hot or not etc applications.

It's stupid.

There's no way you'd get me to go on a blind date though.

Okay... Facebook is NOT a dating website. You add people on your friend's list because you've known them for a while. I for one have bros, sistas, their crazy kids, ex-bosses and all kinds of uncles and aunties, besides ofcourse my friends on my facebook. Sad, I know.

Facebook is just a way to keep in touch with everyone you know already.

Facebook is just a way to keep in touch with everyone you know already.

There are a couple of plug in applications on there: "Are you Interested", "Hot or Not" and "Flit". These allow you to see other people's profiles and select if you would like to meet them or not. Unfortunately you have no choice where they may be, so if you are looking for a soul mate who is into all the things you like, they may be in Papua New Guinea! Its a nice place...I hear.
