Yes it is the right link, the black points are only usually given when you actually get pulled over, you can get up to 15 before you need to worry.

new rule update: for every radar ticket you get, there is 1 black point

radar tickets / muncipality/rta tickets are updated within 2 weeks (or maximum 3 weeks) ; tickets issued outside dubai can take upto 6 weeks to be updated.

Hey good to hear from you ,thanks for the correction and the note about the black points for radar, I'll have to keep an eye out for that.

the only black points I've recieved were 2 for doing a u-turn in a no u-turn area in Bur Dubai but they've been removed from my record already i think Black Points only stay on for 2 years, not sure.

black points are erased on every 12 months basis..
