Hi,
Can anyone give me some idea where most people live when the work in DMC? and an idea of what rent would be like for 3BR villa and apartment and realistic traveling times?

Most people are staying in Bur Dubai, Deira, Sharjah because they can't afford expensive apartments and villas nearby.

3BR villas nearby (Springs, Arabian Ranches, Jumeirah, etc) would cost 200K+.

And how long a drive is it from those three places to DMC and what is the average cost in those places for a 3br villa?

I work in DIC (next to DMC) and live in Karama/Bur Dubai (near Burjuman).
It takes 30 minutes in normal traffic, 45-60 minutes in rush hour, through SZR. Morning or evening.

However, there's no villa there, only apartments, mostly 1-2BR. 3BR probably you can find in Golden Sands area (still considered Bur Dubai) around 130-150K.

Al Barsha - villas and apartments, reasonable prices for sharing and VERY close to DMC.

Screw Bur Dubai or Deira... traffic nightmare.
