Quick question - Does anyone have an idea for what the average postage times are for standard mail from UAE to the US? I had someone send me something from Dubai by regular post, and it was been about 12 business days and I have still not received anything. I wanted to know if this is still a typical length of time for mail by post.

About one week, from my experience. I guess 12 days is still okay. Give it a few more days.

I have posted and received a reasonable amount average is 7 days.

Thanks. I'll give it another few days and then assume that it was lost. Is DHL the most common courier option if I wanted to ensure documents shipped from Dubai arrive quickly?

Any sense of cost for something like this?

me too - 7-10 days

wow, i know not the same country but a registered letter from Canada took me about 18 days.

Post received from UK can be anything from 4 days to 3 weeks

UAE to USA: 7-14 days
USA to UAE: 7-10 days
