Got to spend my 35000 miles on Emirates Skywards promotion (50% off). For 3 of us, no extra ticket purchase if possible.

How's Alexandria? What to see & do?
How's Beirut? Has it recovered after the war?

Really? No one can give advise/info on Beirut and Alexandria?

Things to do in Alexandria:

- Alexandria Library
- Cisterns of Alexandria
- Pompey's Pillar
- Fort Qaitbey
- King Farouk Palace
- Corniche
- Montazah Palace gardens

.... and so many more also Cairo is a car ride away i think a couple of hours.


Things to do in Beirut/Lebanon:

-Solidere (although i think this is closed now)
- Jeita caves
- Baalbek Temples
- Beit Eddine
- Raouche rocks and corniche

... its safe but the politically tense situation might be felt.. especially with peopel camped out in solidere and so on.

Beirut ! i didn t feel any tension last month and i am going back tomorrow...

Right Maad If you go there go to Faraya in the montains 1 hour from the city... its nice!! if you like to relax on the beach try Edde Sand there is also a nice swimmimg pool with king size beds around... for clubs go to the Skybar and the White...
