I just got back from Moscow (Mockba) and i loved every second of it. I heard alot about it before i went there that its dangerous and mafia will eat you alive and stuff....complete bull. Moscow is by far one of the most beautiful cities in the world, people are nice, language is not that hard, weather is great.
Is it normal to have strong feeling toward a place when you just spent 8 days there? its almost the same feeling when i was away from a month from dubai....almost homesick.

just wondering if anybody had the same feeling before...

It can happen, u like a place and want more of it, was this visit related to somthing we had talked long time back bleak??

well i loved the city moscow and the fact that you walk like everywhere. Their metro is one of the world's best metro....every metro has a theme to it related to the CCCP era, covered in marbles and its was just remarkable. Fresh air coz there is no construction going on and stuff. By the way, the women there are so fine and are lovely to talk to i thought i was in heaven , kinda makes me think twice about marriage haha

acually there were some peeps i used to talk too online and i got to hang out with them when i was at moscow. It sounds weird if you think about it, the fact that you meet a person like 2 years ago on the net and then you physically meet them in their country.
The most amazing part is that i know a women there for 2 years and she lives and moscow, odd thing is i met her family at the same time, they though i came to moscow to propose......awkward moment but funny at the same time

Almost any new place is amazing at the first visit.
Especially if you are met and treated well.

Before moving to any new place I would suggest to visit it several times and in different seasons and try to live there, not only be a tourist.

you are probably right dude, kinda iffy about going there in winter....ill probably die

That's what I thought about Russia/Moscow too. Moreover when I heard from my colleague/vendor when they were asked to sign a software implementation contract with a revolver on the desk. Don't know if it's true or not.

But after hearing the story from you, I would go there as well someday. From the travel books/channels, it surely looks like a great city with great architectures and history.

well before going there i heard from my folks that its a dangerous place to go to but when i was there, people were friendly and laid back, you should go there

Bleakus i think you need to visit again in February and then you will experience the long dark ice cold winter nights .. and find out why the Russians invented vodka

Bleakus, If you follow MaaaD's advice - you should start "training" with vodka now! Not much time left! Russians are very strong in this kind of "sport"!
