I doubt the toll gates are equipped with speed cameras. Too big and obvious.

Actually I have a bit of a laugh to add to this thread, I was taking a cab home from Sharjah yesterday and the cabbie pulled over just before the toll on SZR, I thought he may have run out of oil or something, he opens his door and fastened his seatbelt, he was afraid that he'd get a ticket for going through the toll unbuckled, I'm about 1000% sure they aren't monitoring for this.

I'm still not really sure why he needed to stop the car and open the door to fasten the seat belt, but maybe that's a sharjah thing

salik is so dumb. Ive like 50 dhs in my account & now when I pass through it, I get sms saying my balance is 924

I'm not as lucky as you, but only one of my cars is being charged the toll the other one still hasn't been charged and I've crossed at least 20 times in that car. I created a call ticket with them 2 weeks ago now, still waiting for someone to call me back (laughing 'cause I know the probability of that happening, 0 )

its been over a week since i got the salik welcome pack, no sms

cheap deal: it can take a week or more.. My friend did not get sms from them & its been more then a month.. he drives his car pass through the tolls & havnt got any fines..

like duh i did. It shows the same balance. I also called them & made them aware about it... but the money remains...
