I posted my Johhny Rockets rant twice, by mistake. And since I can't delete my own posts, I thought I would just change the whole post instead.

So, still thinking about the burger debacle, I just also remembered that Friar Tucks Fish and Chips shop has now gone, I mean totally. I know it actually closed a while ago but now the sign has gone, the insides are all a big mess, the workmen are totally tearing it apart...

Looking back, I can remember many a day enjoying a big plate of cod and chips - the best in town - and laughing to myself at the poor ignorant fools traipsing to some overpriced hotel pub for a similar meal. It almost brings a tear to my eye.

R.I.P Friar Tucks. You were a good friend, always...
