First people to contact are the Qatar Motor Club - they will advise you on deregistering the car there and getting it onto export plates for the journey. they should be able to advise you on insurance for the journey and saudi cutoms rigmarole as well.
Once it's here, the registration process is simple - get local insurance, have the car tested and you should be able to register it straight away, provided all your paperwork from the Qatar end is in order. i hope the car is GCC spec - if not (ie an import that did not come through local dealer channels as normal) it could be a different story. Again, Qatar Motor Club should be your best centre of advice.
