I am thinking of moving to Dubai in the near future with my company.

What are average expenses for a family with one - I like to eat out and the occasional beer often passes my lips!.

The salary I have been offered is 458,980 - although that includes a housing allowance. Medical/school fee's are provided by the firm. Is this included in your package or provided as over and above?

What will it cost me on average for:

rent - looking for a 3 bed villa - nice/reasonable area for kids Dhs. 160,000 - 200,000PA in a good community, Springs, Greens, Ranches
Food Depends what you like to eat
Cars - x2 small run-arounds - Dhs 120,000++
amenities - Power etc with garden Average Dhs. 2,000.00 PM
phones/internet - + / - 200 PM Internet, Phone depends on usage
satellite - can you get SKY? - No idea
eating out - entertaining - Depends how many times you go out and where you go
anything else you can think of. What about Air Tickets

any help you can give would be much appreciated
