does anybody know what the average pricing of typical cars in dubai are??

Pricing here is generally less than equivalent cars in Europe. Have a look at the GBU section of CAR Middle East or the pricing section in Autocar for new prices and in Auto Trader for Used.

If you can't afford to spend the Dhs.10 for a decent magazine with comprehensive information, maybe you should be buying a bike!

Seriously though, the mags will give you enough information to at least find out what's available in your price range - without trawling all the showrooms: it would probably cost more than ten dirhams in petrol or taxis to go to everyone.

But why pay when I provide the info for free? My numbers are slightly off, but so are the ones in all the mags.
