Office Working Hours In Dubai

Office Working Hours in Dubai Jul 12, 2007
Can someone please tell me what are the office working hours in Dubai, I have tried to call an office today about 15:00 your time there and had no answer...thank you in advance....

You have two different systems here;

Straight Shift - 09:00 - 17:30

Split Shift - 09:00 - 13:00 & 16:00 - 20:00

These times may vary slightly from Company to company

Straight Shift and cant be bothered to answer the phone

Many government departments and many banks branches work even fewer hours, calling it quits by 2 pm.

That's changing though. DNRD has an afternoon/evening shift. Etisalat has some departments open 8am-8pm (or something). More banks are open late - till 4pm, 6pm, even 8pm for some Emirates Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank branches.

Well it is not a straight 09:00 to 18:00-Still...I have tried today after 16:00 and nobody pick up, strange...I guess I will have to call at all times to see when someone is going to answer...

I see...I thought that it was only in the middle of the day...What about Sunday? The same office I have been trying to call send me an e-mail on a Sunday. So it is possible that maybe they will be working tomorrow....Thanks...


Sunday is a working day for everyone.

Sunday is a normal working day for all companies and Government departments
