I swear by Volkswagen's but I have only ever driven European models (Golf, Corrado and a Passat).

"Perfect and exciting"? In a car you will see more often in beige with a coloured top? I don't think so. Reliable, yes; bulletproof servicing, yes. Exciting? NO.
