Sorry for the dumb question but what tv services are offered in Dubai? Is there american packages you can order every month via cable or dish?
if so what channels are offered or what can i expect?

The dorm am staying in has "showtime Arabia" and 'Orbit". You can subscribe to either one of them. They have all the American programmes you can think of in all categories. But is is a bit weeks behind than airing times in the US.

i have weaned myself off tv here-- tho for awhile i loved watching indian soap operas (tho i don't understand hindi)
they look as ridiculous as american soap operas do!
