Newbie here!

There is a possibility a may be offered a job in dubai in the next couple of weeks.

I am pretty much clued up on salary and accomadation issues, the question I have is there many thai people in dubai??

My wife is Thai and the only thing that worries me is her not having much in the way of company whilst I am earning the corn.

She will obviously find english wives and girlfriends to hang around with but it would be nice if she could find thai faces as well.

Those in Lemongrass food stall (Ibn Battuta Mall) are all Thais That's all I know.

Guess we got something in common. I was going to ask the same question. My wifes Thai too and we're moving from the UK to Dubai in about a month time. We'll be there already next week for work and will do some house hunting already.

We have a little boy (4 months old) it would be nice if our wives had some friendly faces to chat to.
