Hi

My husband has just been offered work in Dubai which would mean us relocating from the UK.

I have so many questions: as a wife can I work; what kind of work opportunities exist in Dubai; what is housing like and do people buy or rent???? What is life like generally in Dubai?

Any insights would be much appreciated.

life in Dubai is so much more relaxed in Dubai than the UK, i can tell you that.

Yes you can work, life is very Westernised and very good.

Their not normal here but if you like "Borak"or the "USof A" you will love this place

The best route is for you to spend some time reading the many posts on this help forum. All your answers are there. Any specifics you can ask then. After reading that forum and the "accomodations" forum you will get the gist of things...
