Hey, Rudeboy, I'm afraid Gibbs' record is in the book. Don't try getting clever, now, about the quality of the balls that he smashed to all corners of the ground. He was fantastic, and desreves the credit. In time to come, when looking at the records, people won't be reading about the quality of the bowling that he received. I see SA as the new World Cup Champs, the way they're playing at the moment.

Agreed, If Murali Muralitharan (aka 'the chucker') can get the most wickets record by playing Bangladesh a gazillion times, them Gibbs should be allowed to keep his record against Holland.

But, how about dem irish?
Can you beleive a country of 4 million people, 1/2 of which have never even heard of cricket, and the rest hate it because of its association with the bloody British... beat a country of 400 million, where the only thing they know how to do is play cricket, and obviously not very good at that!

About the closest thing to it was Lance Cairns' 6 sixes off 10 balls in 83, however this was against quality bowling (Deniss Lilliee: best Australian bowler ever), at the MCG (one of the biggest cricket grounds in the world), and under huge pressure (see wicket count).

All I know Bangladesh screwed India by 191 runs all out which is the best thing ever happened!! Bangladesh all the way and plus Pakistan is out. I also heard that Inzamams house is gone as in smashed. Though I dont know if thats true. Now Bangladesh will play with Lankans. The tigers vs the lions. Like the rare species vs the king of the jungles. That hopefully if I can will watch it. I am just wondering if India will loose to Bermuda. Though I dont wanna count the eggs before they hatch. But I think Lanka is gonna thrash India. Lets see what Happens. But I am Bangladesh all the way.

Wolmers death was one of the saddest things that could happen, shows what cricket is all about, though an indian i hope india looses which would prove as an eye opener to the BCCI who spends unknown amounts of money on the cricketers.

Cant belive we lost to ireland. pakistan should be ashamed. How can pakistan, with all that experience and world class players lose to ireland. They aint even professional. Most of thier players are part timers. Its about time the pakistan cricket teams gets a revamp.

Im happy Inzi has retired, his too old and unfit for ODI cricket.
