Actually I think you guys kinda miss some important issues. Yes Prince Harry might just be doing his duty for Queen and Country. However due to his status - 3rd in line to the throne - it makes him a prized target, which could put troops in danger.

Plus of course the media could cause big problems for Harry's regiment if they're stupid enough to follow and broadcast their movements.

Personally I think it's a bad idea to send him at all.

He is a professional soldier, other members of the Great British royal family have served in other conflicts a round the world and returned home,as for it makes him a prized target which could put troops in danger. The Troops say their middle names are DANGER. The jihadists may get to meet Allah much sooner than they think if they try and pull any shit on Harry and his armored reconnaissance unit.
