I'm a registered architect planning to have work in dubai scheduled to depart by 2nd week of march. I've been working as an architect for 8 years now, I just want to ask any knowledge of the salaray package in this category.

For you - 7,000 to 15,000 AED per month

well also depends more on what type of projects you worked on and years of experience.
With 8 years I'd say you can get a senior position with 13k+.
But still as i told u depends on the type of projects u were involved with.

Our filipino architect is getting 30K+++perks. He's handling a team and very good in urban planning and design.

TIP: When going for an interview, it's advisable to bring along your portfolio, the projects you're involved with, your previous design etc. You can negotiate more if you are well-versed and experience with softwares for design (eg. autocad).

Expect an impromptu pratical test. You'll be ask to make a drawing or design as per their requirement.
