We are thinking of moving to Dubai and want to know where the best place to live would be. We have 2 small children so would probably need a 3 bed place. A friend suggested the Green community but that seems fat too expensive.

Maybe renting for a year first to test the water so what is a reasonabley priced area?

This is my first posting after returning from Dubai today!

Anywhere in Dubai city for 3 BR apt would be expensive. You need to dig at least 100-120K/year. So what's your budget? Is 3 BR a must? Where do you/spouse would work?

yes it would have to be 3 beds as we have 3 chilren! Dont have a budget yet just wondered what the more reasonable areas are! Is international city expensive?

I believe the biggest you will get in International City is 2 bed.

3 bed you got to be looking at Dhs. 110,000+ in Dubai I would think.

As I said, there's no place in Dubai that is cheap and reasonable. That's the truth. You might probably get a little cheaper in Sharjah.
