Can someone help me? I have problem with internet in my house...everything was working fine until internet stops. wireless network is still fine, but internet is working for example 2 hours and then sudenly stop...sometimes restarting of router helps, but only for few hours or less. Sometimes even restarting doesn't help. Router is Lynksis. What it can be and what to do to fix it ? thanks a lot !

I had the same problem with my router too....turned out that it kept on crashing....

-check if ur firewall is on..and nothing (open ports, DMZ) is opened.
coz ppl online then try to attack u and maybe thats why it crashes.


-Second reason why my router crashed is went i had a very high speed connection 2mb and many ppl where downloading...it couldnt handle the load.

Your device might need any firmware upgrades maybe???

firmware update,
idle timeout / auto disconnect
connection type / PPOA,PPOE, GM,LITE ???

Common problem with Linksys router/modem. Big name Cisco doesn't guarantee a good product. Better to upgrade the firmware. If the problem still exists, change your router.
