Hi Folks,

I am not in Dubai yet but would like to know the cost of living for a family of 3 persons in Dubai area, excluding the rent as I owned an Apt there.

I read some post that you need 10k aed for a decent living but you will not be saving anything.

Can some one share his/her experience of the cost of living in dubai please?

It's very practical.

Is your child going to school?

In my experience, for couple or family with baby/toddler, you can live decently (not the lux one) starting from 5000 AED a month (foods, transportations, weekly entertainment) excluding accommodation.

School fee starts from 500 AED (nursery) up to 2500 AED (British/American elementary/high school) per month.

If u have money to own an apt., the last thing u need to worry about is the cost of living!
