Hi all, hope everyone is fine and dandy.

I am currently in the UK, but coming out to Dubai early September to check the place out and reward myself with a little time off (after no holiday for a good few years). My profession is sound engineering, and I also Dj regularly here in London and the home counties. I was wondering if anyone knows of any recording studios, as an internet search has brung no joy. I specialise in mix engineering, from live sound (the full band outfit) through to Dance music. Would anyone know if there is any demand for this kind of thing, or atleast know anyone that I could meet up with to have a chat on my arrival to Dubai?

I will also be bringing a small bag of records and my cd wallet just in case, as I understand that the House scene is really starting to pick up... If anyone knows any promoters/club managers/ radio contacts (do a show here in UK) too, again, this would be hugely appreciated.

I can actually remember writing that post, still hanging after Reading festival!! All I can say is right place at the right time, luck, and most importantly, meeting really nice people!! Suppose I owe a lot to a certain Miss Emma B- belated thanks;-) hehe.

But determination really is the key- if you're hungry for something, go and get it, don't let up till you succeed!!! In fact, never let up in my eyes, always strive to achieve better!
