Okay, this could be a stupid question, but shouldn't it be possible to make a .pdf file if one has Adobe Acrobat Reader installed? Is there additional software needed to make a .pdf? Help please

Hi K,

I believe that the reader can only be used for reading. You need the whole programme to be able to convert a document into a PDF.

Doh! I used to be able to make .pdf's before on my work computer, but I guess I did have the full version installed instead of just Reader. Thanks Sage

cute pdf is free and its installed on the computer, not everyone likes to send there files to some website to create a pdf for them.

Man i bought the ticket for Pakistan and leaving on 11 feb . I will spend only 18 days and then back:(.

Yeah I tried it and it's good, same as CutePDF, but PDFCreator knocks both out because it is free and very compatible.

Or you could always download and use Open Office with its free inbuilt pdf creator and then you are breaking free from the Microsoft Monster.
