Hi,

I am planning to buy a digital photo camera...I have some good experience with photography. I would appreciate if somebody can help me to choose a good camera. The idea is to get a camera which is not very complicated but also doesn't limit you to.

What do you mean you have good experience? Like what have you been
using, and do you want to develop from what you know?

If you just want a new digital camera then I would say go with Canon IXUS,
the latest version (as I say to the most people who want a new and good
digital camera). If you want a light version of system digitals which is not so
hard to use, but still not so professional, but more professional than a normal
digital, then I would say go for Canon Powershot.

If you want to go directly to professional cameras then I say go for system
digital cameras. And there you have plenty of versions, but you can start
with the EOS versions of Canon or Nikon D80, depending on taste. Otherwise
I don't see so much different between those brands.
