Looking back they were good years and good haircuts - and to think i used to make fun of kids who liked 'Duran Duran' and here I am totally digging them;

Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand
Just like that river twisting through a dusty land
And when she shines she really shows you all she can
Oh Rio, Rio dance across the Rio Grande

Hell, Duran Duran. All time classics.

Talking about haircuts, lets not forget:

Brian Ferry
SoftCell (Marc Almond)
Depeche Mode
Thompson Twins
Dead or Alive
Flock of Seagulls (classic haircut)
The band that sang "True" (two bothers who played the Kray Twins)

Arggggggggggggggggggggg, damn it, i cannot remember the names of the bands! :twisted: :twisted:

Dude i remember 5star.

My Sis was a massive fan - she used to blast out 5star on her crappy little stereo whilst practicing the dance moves - "system addict - I never can get enough".

Then our mum (bless her) would shout upstairs 'stop jumping up and down for Christs sake the neighbors will think we have got a herd of elephants up there'.

Ahhh the memory s :)
