i play the staring game personally

Play Music, think about a loved one two good choices.

nothin different frm what i do while NOT stuck in traffic. look at my rear view mirrors once every few secs and listen to music.
sometimes i play with the navigation screen if im really bored

But what sort of music

smooth jazz or heavy metal....etc do you prefer to listen too?

I:
a) beep my horn as loud and as often as I can
b) wave my arms around and gesticulate in an irate fashion
c) creep up, inch by inch, the bumper of the dude in front
d) rev my engine as loud and as often as I can
e) decide I want to be in the next lane and berate anyone who won't let me in
f) try to run over any pedestrian who dares try to cross in front of me

....... I love being stuck in traffic

when i m stuck in traffic i switch da tv in my car on n watch dubai sports. tune into UAE league matches n go GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I have an hour and half commute every day, which if conditions are bad (weather, crashes) can easily turn into a three hour drive. I'm sure you all have similar traffic problems in Dubai.

I carpool with someone else to and from work every day, So I have someone to talk to when she is not sucking on her cigarrettes *coughs*.

But other than that listen to music, laugh at other drivers who are singing to the radio like a drunk in a kareokee bar, stare at the car in front of me, wave at the person behind me through the rear view mirror like I know them (confuses the hell out of them) but its a good laugh.

Drive to work = Boring!

you guys got to get your hands on a collection called "Driving Ballad". I has most of the classic songs in there

DTA should be handing those Driving Ballads CDs out to commuters for free.

As long as Im not driving, I do the ff when Im stuck on traffic:

- read pocket book
- listen to my mobile's radio
- compute my budget for the month, or the next
- send sms message to old pals
- do my nails

plenty of things to do

I do the following:

1. Sending sms to friends and lovedones

2. I listened to music or sometimes arabic prayers or whatever the taxi driver have in his sound system. I am not a high maintenance passenger, you only need to drive carefully and i will stay calm & less demanding and would even listen to any music (arabic, hindi, urdu, farsi, etc).

3. I watched other drivers and giving them dirty look for staring at me.

4. I sometimes memorised car plate numbers especially those who cut the lines. So careful, me have photographic memory.

have not had the "good fortune" of being stuck in dubai traffic yet

and i am not looking forward to it either!

but if was...i would:

1) listen to old Michael Jackson hits...and try to immitate:)

2) make faces at other people...

in the evenings Audio Books on self improvement, finance & wealth, Christian teachings etc etc

If the traffic doesnt move...out comes the heavy metal cd

listen to my muse cd, once that is over, listen to some arabic/farsi music and dance in my car, smoke, talk on the phone, ummm look at the other cars around me - make sure the person in front of me isnt a moron and knows how to drive so i can continue on doing things in my car that i shouldn't be doing while driving...
