im new here from the uk, i dod thai boxing for a few years but the only club i have seen is the xma kickboxing one on sheikh zayed road, i went to a taster session and its ok, but are their any thai boxing classes around, or is xma all there is.

tho the facilities are good, i do have a 'little' problem with prices, like 50aed for a 1hour class!

well there is a place in rashidya called "bu ramatha club", they teach a wide range of martial arts

I also did Muay-Thai while in London. I searched for one in Dubai but have not really found any suitable.

I dont know if they teach Russian Martial Art here, but i mean if you "youtube" some systema videos, im sure youll fall in love with it. I highly suggest you try it out before focuing on something.

i think i will just to the kickboxing as a compromise, i did the full intro lesson the other day and it was fine, they just politely tried to keep my guard alot closer, and didnt seem to mind that i was always moving my feet while everyone else was stationary.

they will beat it out of me soon enough,

the class itsself is very good, i like the facilities and the people there, tho the lessons are expensive i can put it on my business 'social expenses' so who gives a flying one?!

i am really looking forward to getting my skill and stamina back!

If you like Muay Thai then you need to go to Karama...
