Firstly, aplogies for posting in the Romance section - but I figure you courting guys and girls would know about alcohol more than most.

I'll be visitng Dubai from New Zealand in Jan - was wondering what beers are available there and how much a pint might cost. Also any reccomendations of pubs would be cool (particularly one that's showing The Ashes).

Hotel bars more expensive.

At the bar of my university I think it's 12 or 15 dirhams per pint, not sure though, don't like beer

beer price's range from 5dhs all the way to 40 or 45 .. dependin on where u are havin it

Ah! I didn't realise there were bars in Dubai that weren't in hotels. Thanks.
