Inspired from the Stock market crash topic/thread...

What do you reckon of it?

Also, I have a question, can someone PLEASE explain to me how are they cheaper than Etisalat when they will supposidly charge 1 fils per second?!

Let's assume that you make a 3:05 minute call. Here is the scenario:

If you call using Etisalat's pricing scheme (Or outgoing one as I heard they will charge by second as well), you will be charged for the full 4 minutes at 30 fils @ peak time = 120 fils, fair enough

But @ Du: 3:05 minutes = 185 second, at the rate of 1 fils per second that is 185 fils, right?! So how the f*k are Du cheaper than Etisalat?! I've been trying to get my head around it but couldn't find a logical answer!

Du won't be cheaper. TRA made sure of that. I don't see what the hype is about. Etisalat will also charge by the second soon.

Whilst I was talking about competition, what I really should have addressed was the quality of service. Now, without being given any choice, our service is changing from DIC (once Sahm) to DU, and we are still not able to get a land line from Etisalat. I can tell you that the quality of what we receive from Sham / DIC and now DU is way below Etisalat.
