if a guy approaches you in a very good manner and asking you to join him for a drink? what will be your initial reaction and what are the chances for you to join him?

don't just walk up and ask her for a drink straight away. let her see you're interested, gatch her glance a couple times,SMILE at her. When you ask her if she'd like a drink, YOU join HER at the bar, don't drag her over to where you were. we're more likely to have a drink with you if we're feeling comfortable (eg. friends are close by)

It's definately a fine line, it's always a bit more fun if there's a bit of flirting going on, you know little glances, catching each others eyes, a smile, whatever. I don't think there's anything wrong with a guy being forward I think lots of girls like that and if a girl plays too hard to get with too much attitude that's a real turn off for guys.
