Hi,
Anyone know a software (that works!) that recover's corrupted sms's from a simcard?
I downloaded and tried 'Data Doctor Recovery' but it only detects com ports apparently - it didnt detect my phone at all.

Would i need a special sim card reader, or would the normal cable i connect from the computer to the phone do?

umm reading data off a sim card requires specialized hardware that i doubt you have you cant just do it off your computer. I am sorry cant help you though with your question dont know anyone who does that kind of stuff.

neither do i .. but i believe i have seen etisalat people doing it when i was working with them..try calling etisalat.. or some mobile repair shop or something ?? no serious help here.. dude ..

Thanks guys.
But is there anything wrong with my sim now?
Coz every message i move from my inbox to my sim now says corrupt!
everything else is fine, ie - old msgs on the sim can still be accessed as well as fone numbers.
