since the new 2007 x5 is coming out, anyone know if the 2006 models prices will drop? and if so to how much for the 3.0 V6 model..... i promise to drive properly

why not just give 181 a call and ask for the BMW Showroom tel No., they will be able to give you all the information you need.

just spoke to the bmw folks, they got no deals 200k++ AED for the 2006 x5 3.0 base model.

so booked a Lexus RX350 instead. it was way cheaper and fully loaded too. the gps was quite funny as it told us we were in the water while driving on the Corrniche!!!

So, is the RX350 equipped with underwater breathing apparatus?

no its not, unless of course the power rear liftgate or the front parking sensors help breathe!!!

Could have been involved in an accident maybe.

The second side pic shows what looks like a knock on the side door which has been badly repaired (might just be the lens though).

Those pictures seem to be from USA. Might even be a flood-damaged car. They look good from outside.

i did call the advertised number just to get some more info. some guy picked up and started screaming into the phone then hung up. called again and someone else picked up but guess he was a local and could not speak english

To tell you the truth, I've never come across a reliable used car showroom. Their objective is to buy a car for as cheap as possible and to sell it for as high as possible. So you can imagine some of the cars they might pick up, no matter how good they look on the outside and whatever million-point checks they might claim to have. I say this because I actually found garages in Sharjah whose sole purpose is to fix up abused used cars before they hit showroom floors.

yes i agree, thats why i bought a new suv. i had gone to atleast 10-15 different used car places and most of them seemed like they were hiding something or else the car looked in too good condition for a 2-3yr old car.
