well, okay lets start
i just got myself in the city and actually i had no idea about it before
however, now i'm looking for a place where i can hide from the outsiders at night and sleep in peace !! :P
let me just shoot ya my ideas about the place
first of all, i'm looking for a bedroom to share in a 2 BR aprt. or in a villa with a max number of 3 people for the aprt. and 5 in the villa.
i would prefer to share with a couple, but of course will never mind to share with a "good girl" :-P
haha..no really, i just prefer couples than crazy singles because i've been into this before.
anyway, sorry guys but I WILL NOT share with Indians, Filipinos, Pakistanis, Indonesians, or any other east Asians.
i'd prefer to share with americans but it's not a must, and i'm looking for a place in Bur-Dubai and it's surroundings.
i'm male, 26, i'm an architect, i'm egyptian, and i smoke =)

Me too, I am looking for accommodation and willing to share but I WILL NOT share with Egyptians or anyone from that continent.

you will have to be there just to understand what does it means, and by the way i'm here looking for a place where i'm supposed to live not to write down my opinions about life & ppl
anyhow.. i said i will not share with indians, fillipinos and etc.. just because i have a communication troubles with them nothing else and nothing more, i don't hate them and i don't think they don't belongs to planet earth.

Duh, i know egypt belongs to egyptians. What is the continent of Egypt? (But i guess u don't know what a continent is, clue: we've 7 continents in the world - EUROPE is one).

I won't share accommodation with egyptians because i can't speak arabic, no more no less. Period. Now, did you find a place to stay?

Is it really that depressing that you even have to find someone to share with

You can find a place where to stay here easily but with the high cost of rents most expats prefer to share accommodations. It would make more difficult because of one's preferences take mizo as an example.

If you have the right budget then take a flat of your own and don't share it with anyone.

That's the funny thing; I don't have so much cash. I need to apply for a
scholarship instead. Inshallah I'll get good enough of money.

We have spacious rooms with private bathrooms in our 4 bedroom villa next to DIC & Knowledge Village. We are a South African couple and a
Belgium guy in the age group of 29 - 32 years currently living in the villa. The villa is furnished with a beautiful garden including 24 hr
security, wireless internet, satelite tv, gym, sauna, steamroom, swimming pool and jacuzzi.
It's a smoking & cat friendly environment.

Double Room with private bathroom = AED 54000 per annum 1 cheque (as per landlord's instructions).
Master Room with on-suite bathroom = AED 60 000 per annum 1 cheque (as per landlord instructions).

Should a person want to vacate, the onus is on them to find a new tenant to pay them.
