How is Singapore compared to Dubai, in terms of
- work culture [Are graduates from universities immediately absorbed into the job market? Equal opportunities for locals and expats? Etc]
- social life [Is it plastic like Dubai - show me the moolah, and we love you long time - or is just another mall infested place?]

The reason I'm asking, is because I'm contemplating on making a move to Singapore - for post-grad educational purposes.
