well not so sure about that. Definetely want a nice, clean, liveable place, whether apartment, room in a villa...etc etc. But mainly I was looking for which areas in Dubes would be most appropriate to live if one is working there. In terms of commute/traffic, also would prefer a nice area. Any ideas?

Mirdif or Rashidiya I think would be good spots.

Can you be a bit more specific about the location on Airport Road please.

I believe its the Emirates Industries building, not too sure where that is though.

Well, then I guess you must be somewhere close to the Airport.

Rashidiya would be the best, then Mirdif. Garhoud area would also be Ok for you.

Al Qusais could be an option too

would living on sheikh zayed road or al wasl, barsha, jumeriah area be too out of the way you think?

^ big no-no! Lots of traffic! I have to deal with this everyday! Yorky's advice was pretty good. I can certify that with Garhoud you can't go wrong. Nice spot and 5 mins away from the airport. Only dark sport is that I don't have the luxury of working on the airport's road

Oh I must have misunderstood you, I was asking if Dubai Aiport Road is a crappy area?

I wouldn't call it crappy, but you better look for accomodation in nice spots like you mentioned. Only problem is how much you're willing to invest.

yeah I am not so sure of my budget yet. hopefully I will find something reasonable in a nice area.
