My Friend is Belgian so spoke to her in Flemish.
My colleague is Italian, and he said she had a Sardinian accent - which is not easy to replicate.
So passport checks were not necessary

My shock was more (which i should have mentioned in the first post, but did in the second one i think) that these girls actually have PROPER jobs here in Dubai.
The Dutch girl works in Media apparently, and they were discussing the subject too... which he said was quite believable

the Italian works for a large Hotel Chain.. had her pass too! hence a little surprising...

Oh well..
