Does anyone know if there are any decent Chinese restaurants in Dubai? I mean authentic ones and not the ones gwai lo goes to (no offense)

Quite a few near Al Nasr leisureland.

Constantine also has a fave near Lamcy Plaza... would be worth checking with him when he returns.

there's 1 in hor-al-anz east, just behind abu hail center.... dont remember the name..
excellent food - but i last ate there in 2004!
owned by some chinese ppl, so must be authentic

Lan Kwai Fong - near Lamcy Plaza
One near Clock Tower (deira, can't remember the name)
Chinese hot pot place (very, very good, run by Northern Mushrooms) :lol:

Twin Towers Shopping Centre in Deira

The best Chinese on a budget that I know of in the country is in Ajman.

If your not on a budget, the shangrila hotel 2nd floor makes an amazing peeking duck

uhhmmm u want china chinese or malaysian/singaporean chinese food....its different i gues...

anywayz....try the First Malaysian Restaurant on Sheikh Zayed Road...thats pretty good and authentic...

another one in Karama is the Singapore something something.....
