Hi Sara, being born is quite painful but not all babies cry when they're born. Crying is a good sign, and sometimes doctors slap the baby's bottom to make them cry to ensure that they're alive and well.

Yes, quite a common practice. The PC Brigade did try to stop it at one point I believe though.

Isabela, that is indeed a good question. In recollection of Muppet Lore, I do believe that Ms. Piggy and Kermit are indeed lovers off the stage, and this is evident if you watch the Muppet Movie.

It should be noted, when the late Jim Henson was quizzed on this, he replied by saying they weren't either a pig or a frog, they were muppets.
