what is bambi impression?!

A Bambi Impression refers to someone getting all confused and puffy eyed as did Bambi in the movie when he was like "Mother please wake up" after his mother had been shot.

Well, it's better than picking someone else's nose.

In essence though, it is self grooming. The fact is blowing a nose is not as natural as sneezing or removing offending boogas with a finger.

Whilst it is 'natural', it is filthy and gross. Much like cats cleaning their bum with their tongue.

The original Tinky-Winky (Dave Thompson) from everything I can ascertain was not gay, and the creator of Teletubbies (itsy-bitsy entertainment) have also stated several times that Tinky-Winky is not gay.

The only possible connections with homosexuality are:

* It carries a handbag
* It has a triangle on its head (supposed to the symbol for gay pride)
* It's purple (the colour of gay pride?)

However, like Spongebob Squarepants (who has a snail called Gary), the focus should actually be on the actual gender of the character. As they are imaginary characters, it is hard to fathom that they can reproduce or have any gender preference. The question shouldn't be, is Tinky-Winky gay, but actually, is it possible for Tinky-winky to be gay.

The answer is no.

Barney is a dinosaur. He is more likely to eat children than molest them.

PrettyPenny wrote:Dr. D,

Is it true what they say about guys with big cars? small feet?

Hi Penny,

in answer to the first question, is it true that guys try to compensate for lacking in other areas with big/fast cars... well this might come as good news or indifferent news, but the answer is no.

It is a common misbelief that guys feel the need to compensate for small things with big things - but in actual fact the male brain is not wired this way. The true answer is guys never really mature the way women do, we like to have fun, and being in the position to treat ourselves to a big car is more of an ego-stroke then an attempt to compensate. It's not about countering insecurities. In short we do it because we can and enjoy it.

Hence the oft-cited 'penis-envy' criticism towards Porsche owners actually originates from other males who in fact have Porsche-envy, and attempt to make their lack of finances or male-practicality excusable by criticising a fellow man. I think this concept must have been passed to the female species by a rather well endowed but very poor individual. (why he never joined the adult movie industry, I don't know.)

For the record, I do not drive a Porsche, at least not until Hertz start renting them at reasonable prices.

Now to answer the big feet question, again, this is a myth, although the bone structure of the human body is in proportion to a very precise metric, cartlidge and floppy bits are not governed by the same requirements. It should be said, if the body moves too far out of variation from the metrics that govern bone length, bipedal walk would become impossible. People with variations in bone length outside the standard norm often suffer from heart failure due to the increased stress placed on the cardio-vascular system from attempting to conform to proper human movement. This is particularly true for people with 'sloped' shoulders.

But I digress, back to floppy bits.

Like ears, the noses, lips, tongue etc. other *cough* appendages are heavily linked to genetics. They are not fixed to bone length and thus someone with huge feet (governed by bone length) can have tiny ears, and other bits. Therefore, big feet are no guarantee of anything but big shoes.

Hope that clears that one up for you.

Cheers

Dr. D.

This one is really quite simple, by elongating the face slightly by opening the mouth, it provides the head with more stability.

That and women sometimes feel the need to open their mouths at the most awkward times (I know I'm going to get flamed for this one - but it's a joke!)

The easiest way to deal with this is find friends who have the same condition. You will find that you feel much more comfortable in a group of guys who are all point each other with their pinky while drinking.

To top it off, you should buy some bling for it to really stand out with your new posh mates.

Ah-hem... there is that, but I would call this more an 'action' than an impression. It's a matter of semantics I know.

Nowhere near it. I feel if I had spent the money on a nursery, it would have been a more sound investment. :?

are you a spelling bee...and how does that affect your social skills on an interpersonal plane of gratification leading to a meaningful conversation with a like minded individual on the same level as you which you thought was impossibly difficult to find in such a transient city which is preoccupied with results rather than a chance to breathe...

Interesting question. I might ponder it a little more on my way to your place with the roll of masking tape.
