PERSONAL PROFILE

Amira was born 22.11.99. She has excellent vision and outstanding health – basic requirements for big sport.

She began skating at the age of three and by the age five, she started attending ice skating lessons and making regular exercises. Currently she is practicing ice skating almost every day (excluding days, when ice rink is closed), for not less than an hour per day. Her weekly hours on ice are 5-6.

Apart from ice skating, Amira is doing gymnastic, swimming, choreography, piano, studying anatomy and planning to learn viola and guitar, if she will have enough time.

She is the youngest ice skater of UAE and has already made her first ice show: "The Snow Queen", January 2005, as part of Dubai Shopping Festival, where she performed solo -"Rose".

She also has taken a part in opening ceremony of UAE Annual Figure Skating Championship 2005, performing a very famous "dance of little swans" from Tchaikovsky Ballet.

In August-September 2005 Amira is planning to go to Moscow Olympic School, to become a professional Figure Skater and approach Olympic Level. She is looking for Sponsors.

If you know companies, right people in those companies, who would be interested to be named as a sponsor for sport & young talents development, if you are employed by media and can make some publicity for Amira, if you are employed by an air line, operating with Moscow and can look for a possibility of free / special rates ticket for Amira and /or her mother to be able to see each other more often (Amira's mother is working in Dubai), if you have any other ideas & suggestions - you are most welcome!

Amira is flying to Moscow at the end of August. She will need a place to stay (either a boarding school, or in her coach's house). Her tution fees, equipment, live expense her mother can cover. But she may need sponsors for travels, competitions, extra fees, other expense.

Amira is a cute name. One of my friends little babies is called Amira and she is adorable
