my treo650 is broken, 3 hours after i arrived in dubai anyone know a place here which does palm treo repair?

In Deira, near Baniyas square where the HSBC bank is and all. They have a lot of shops there that do phone repair.

Just be there when they're repairing it. They have a bad habit of switching parts between the customer's phone and theirs

actually, after searching the web and phoning around, i manage to track down the distributor for palm product here in dubai. it is called ITE distribution [website www.iteme.com] and they have excellent palm support guy called Sudheesh Mohan who knows the stuff.

unfortunately the simcard holder is a total writeoff and need to be replaced. so they are sending my unit to europe palm support for replacement. will cost me usd200... ka ching... but i will get brand new unit after 2 weeks.
