Hi Guys

Xmas is obviously not a recognised holiday in the UAE. So what do you guys do if you want to take holiday at this time? Do you find it a problem to get time off at this time of year if you work in UAE. Also I would assume that many UK expats would be wanting to go back to the UK at this time of year.

Is this true or do you all stay in the sun??

It actually depends on the Company you work for, many of them let the Christian Employees take a day off on Xmas day.

Also on the question of taking leave at Xmas, a lot of companies will favour the Batchelors, so that they can return to their home country for the season.

For families it is great to stay here, all the Malls have decorations up, Wafi has Santa etc etc.
