Does anybody know where I can find an open coffee shop (before Iftar) in Dubai? Everywhere is closed

Am not sure but hotels maybe? Some cafes that should be open before iftar:
Cosmo on SZR
Lime Lite Cafe on SZR (Chelsea Tower)
Shakespeare (Various branches)
Lemon Tree Cafe in Jumeirah (It closes at 7 anyway)
More Cafe in Garhoud and Al Murooj Complex in SZR

I'd advise you to call before going though in order to NOT waste your time

I think Seattles Best in DIC is open if I remember correctly...I may be wrong

Are the places mentioned closed off...or is it open to the public.

I dont want people staring at me wondering why I am not fasting...


Some lady actually asked me that the other day when I was in the petrol station...actually she more like yelled at me...telling me I dont fear God and I have no respect.

Well, places like Cosmo have seating outside and inside and they have curtains, I would be surprised if they didn't open for business by simply closing the curtains... More cafe and Shakespeare are closed off (Depending on one's interpretation of the word though ) and they do not have any buffet or THAT special offers for iftar, thus, I do not think they are closed... CALL them up instead and check *mean*
