Okay time to start focusing on this a bit, i need to firm up numbers and activities.

First off, I need to know how many people are in. Nov. 10 or Nov 17. Post preferred activities/date, whether you would like to camp overnight or not?

If you're interested must let me know by the 18th of October and I’ll post finalized plans closer to the end of the month.

If we can get enough interest I'll work to make sure that we can get a desert camp to ourselves for the evening. i.e. only DFM members and their guests

Budget around AED 250/person for desert safari, food, shisha, henna and the like. (prices are aproximate and may vary drastically based on number of participants and planned events)

oh also if you prefer landcruiser safari or self drive dune buggy style (likely we'll get a mix here and may split the group up and meet back at the tents)

How about a big desert party at night. Rent an huge tent somewhere find a spot, bring food and drink, etc. After all isn't the desert one of the truly local places. One bar/restaurant , two bar/restaurant, three bar/restaurant same here as in Mongolia....

Hi guys I am in and Fayaz let me know before you book anything and I will contact my mates ... much cheeper you know. They can organise tours, training, quads, sand boarding etc

trouble is we were planing a house warming for that weekend... who knows??

Anyway ...

Tentatively in. There's a chance i'll have to go west to the magic kingdom early in the month which would make me unavailable for the 10th, later in the month should be fine though.

Eid will be around the 23rd of October, this even will be in November

Good luck getting a stripper in Dubai - some have tried before.

count me in for this one..... as of now..... it all depends when our new hotel opens up though.....scheduled for mid-november.

Count me in too ... unless something urgent comes up at work, I am in.

We are doing a private gig first, but the working title is 'Visit Visa'. very much a guitar based rock outfit and the sound is coming together nicely. If it all goes to plan, we may be playing public venues before too long and have already been approached by a couple of promoters who have liked what they heard...just needs a bit of 'polishing'!

Will let everyone know where and when they need to buy earplugs!

Nov 17 ... cos Nov 10 i will be flying back from lebanon..

sorry for the delay in this thead, I had to trips out of Dubai but I'm back now. I'm just waiting to hear back from a couple people so i can post details.
