My MSN hasnt been working for 3 days and the webmessenger isnt working either...what am I supposed to do?

unistall the whole thing .. an hmmm delete the file .. re-download it .. might work ..

but then again i dont know shit bout computers ...

is it the old msn messenger or the new one ??

The first question: is ur email active?!!!!

If yes, then it seems you have to uninstall MSN messenger and install it again...Sometimes it works, dont ask me why, cuz i have no clue.

if both the MSN messenger and the webbased MSN are not working, you might be blocked by the ISP


other thing is wrong password (if you log to hotmail with no problem, then not this reason)


Last thing.. try to creat a new account on hotmail and log in with it in the MSN, if it worked, then you are not blocked and the problem is with your log in name and password aka. account.

or easier, take UAE75 login and password and give it a shot, if it worked, then..... problem with ur account

My 2 step solution in such situations:
1) kick the computer
2) pee on the monitor

if you are blocked, it is either your company firewall, or the ISP (Etisalat) but i doubt it is Etisalat as everyone is still using it.

it is really hard to do so from distance, so you better pay for a professional better than hassel with people around here.

If you are a pro ( i mean internet geek) like me, you would be able to fix it by copying the error code into yahoo and start searching for answers and solutions.

as a quick fix, just try to use http://www.iloveim.com it works for me as at work the MSN is blocked. report back if it worked or not.

Are you using Etisalat or DIC ?

use YM instead, the new version allows you to communicate with MSM accounts...

I dont know, my msn still isnt working...but the site you suggested i use logged me in fine...
