Do you have a favourite recipe or food that you just must have every day or every week or every month?

Share your favourite recipe or if you're a great cook, share with us your own recipe.

At least once a month I have to have this. Yeah yeah I know, only once a month? Ah well, thats my way of controling weight.

I have a dessert recipe -

Take a Bowl
- Add Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream (or any flavour you like)- Two Large scoops
- Add Your Favourite Jam (mixed fruit for me) - Two Spoons
- Cut up 3-4 straberries and pour it on
- End it with 4-5 Marie Biscuits laid out standing and in a circle.

Serve Chilled.

ok this is my personal recipe...and i own copyrights to it(thats why i am posting it on a public forum)...

serves 2 people

2 green apples
shallots
honey
thai chilli sauce
soy sauce
cut fresh chillis
cut fresh pressed garlic
bit of parsley
salmon fillet (2 medium pieces)

chop green apples/chillis/garlic very fine

peel shallots...more the better

drop shallots and the above into a pot(a wok is the best)

then add a bit of thai chilli sauce and soy...

simmer for 5 mins...

then add the fillets (after slicing them)

add honey on top...enough to give it a sweet and firey taste...

add soy a bit more...till you get the right consistancy of all...meaning it tastes sweet/salty/and firey....if you can manage that...it tastes devine...

this is a hit...trust me :D

my fav recipe:

You need 2 slice of bread
Butter/Margarine
slice cheese (optional)
Leaf of lettuce.

Direction: spread Butter/Margarine on both the slides of bread, place the cheese & the lettuce on one, & place the other slice on top.

yum.

Cheese fondue - homemade, not the ready mix
put your a/c to the minimum and drink lots of wine with it.

My arugla salad with breaded goat cheese is yum and easy

Fresh arugla
Sun dried tomatoes
walnuts
red onion sliced

those are the ingrediants for the salad...toss em' in a bowl with the dressing. For the dressing you will need:

1 finely chopped clove of fresh garlic
1 tsp dijon mustard
Juice of one whole lemon
2 tbs chives
2 tsp scallions
salt/pepper
abou 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup oliveoil

Mix all the ingrediants except the olive oil into a bowl. I suggest using a whisk to get a good consistency. Then slow add the olive oil while whisking at the same time. Important to keep whisking while putting in the oil otherwise the oil will separate. It's a great dressing for a lot of salads

Then take a package of goat cheese, the one that is formed in a log is easiest because it is easier to slice. Make sure it is cold and not at room temperature.Next cut the goat cheese into about one inch circles (as many as you want for your salad), if it starts to crumble it is very easy to form back together. Now take 3 separate plates, one with 2 beaten eggs, another plate with white flour, and another plate with seasoned bread crumbs.

First take each circle, coat it with the flour first, then the egg, and then the bread crumbs so they are evenly coated. Then you will want to fry them in a pan on medium-high heat with about a 3/4 cup of olive oil in it. Make sure the oil is hot first before frying them.
Fry them until golden brown and then place on top of the salad...
and voila time to habra!
