Well, Frankly I know nothing about Singapure and would like to see things that are unique to Singapore, if possible.
By way of example, if someone wanted come to Dubai to see things that are "unique to dubia" here is what I would suggest for a 2-1/2 day trip.
Day 1: Go to the Dubai Museum (they did a nice job for a small museum), go to the creeks edge and take an Abra to the Deira Side, walk around a bit, see the gold souk and spice sook. Come back to Bur Dubai and go to lunch or dinner at Bastakia. May want to arrange a city tour on the double decker bus tour.
Day 2. Go on a "Desert Safari Tour/Dune Bashing" Arabian Adventures is good. They'll pick you up at the Hotel around 4 pm. During the day and unless you are from Tokyo (or perhaps anothr city) check out the ski slope at the Emirates mall. If you would like have tea at the Burj Al Arab. Select 2:pm and have Arabian Ranches pick you up from there!
Remaining 1/2 day. Go to the Jumeirah Mosque. If you want go to Jumeirah beach if not for anything else just to see the sand and gulf.
Go back to airport.
I think the above would be "uniquely" Dubai. Any thing similarly Singapore?
This would be for a person not looking for beaches, clubs, bars, restaurants (plenty of good restaurants where home is as well as dubai). In my neighborhood back home we actually have a Tiger beer and chilly crab festival every summer...
