Where's Wally? Sep 21, 2011
(Or 'Where's Waldo' if you're not a Brit)

It's been now over a week since event horizon has abandoned the Religion forum - he's posting his usual stuff in the politics forum, so he's around. ;)

How long shall we wait?

shafique wrote:Nope, eh, you won't get away with starting new threads to get away from threads you started and now can't answer the questions raised.

(Especially as the questions raised in this thread have already been dealt with here:

)

Let's see the questions you're avoiding:

1. You need to explain your 'new religion' theory to back up your assertion that the Bible isn't clear what happens to Hindus - i.e. where do the 'condemned' and 'damned' Hindus go, if they don't go to Hell:
philosophy-dubai/unbelievers-and-hell-koran-bible-t47316.html

2. You need to explain your stance on the related question - do you agree that the Pope is the anti-Christ and is going to hell, as some of your fellow Christians do:
philosophy-dubai/for-the-pope-the-anti-christ-t47287.html

3. And let's not forget the list of Biblical verses that confuse you (such as talking donkeys, sun stopping in the sky) etc:
philosophy-dubai/biblical-confusion-t47353.html

But I'm very interested in understanding you 'new religion' theory - why you have had to invent a new religion to back up your view that unbelievers DON'T go to hell as Christians believe, based on the Bible.

Cheers,
Shafique

I guess a nice side-effect of eh painting himself in a corner, is that we have fewer of his posts here now.

I guess this list of questions he's avoiding is a very effective troll remedy!

You'll have to argue with yourself sunshine! You have been known to repost your posts and answer them :drunken:
If I remember correctly, in those heady days before you were stripped of your moderator status, you used to be able to post after yourself, as a new post. I don't think you can do that now, can you?
Maybe EH's figured that if he doesn't feed you, you will be able to post less. Unless the other Muslims come to your rescue that is!

Perhaps you're right - but the evidence above suggests otherwise. ;)

^Hint, look for the numbers in the OP - you'll then see the evidence.

:D Welcome back Bora.

Do spammers compile lists of questions being avoided?

But the nice side effect is fewer 'here's another loon theory about Islam' thread started by the young one. ;)

Isn't it a matter of choosing to ask 'why' rather than blindly believing what one is told?

I've questioned every aspect of Islam and tested against logic - and indeed I apply this to all the beliefs I hold. I find it illogical to think it is ok to believe something that offends logic.

And you're still a believer? The more I read about religion the more I believe it's for fools. Wars are fought over religion. I'd rather look to my inner self than rely on an old book.

You don't still believe in the tooth fairy aswell do you?

Ohh well we can't explain everthing by logic..If I really go after my logic,I should really not believe in a creator since I cannot see him by the naked eyes..But I know he exists..Am I illogical?..

Before Microscope was found noone perhaps would believe that germs could be seen and be differenciated from bacteria to viruses etc, and in those days if I was clever enough to fore tell that one day humanity will discover optic and they will be seen then would have that made me illogical? ...
In the old days noone could possibly think of space journey, internet, fax machine, transmission of sound(phone) mobile phones etc..But now they are reality with human progress..Illogical?

With my logic if someone commits suicide jumping from a 100 mts high bridge, they should instantly die but I know so many survives with minor injuries..How could you explain that? Illogical?

I believe in teleportation of goods from distance.. at the moment it's unimaginable..does that make me illogical?
But I know in the future it will happen..It's just that as humans we have not reached enough capacity to work it out now(living in the wrong era for that), but in future as humans progress further it will happen by the will of god..
We cannot expect everything to happen at once you know..Other wise it would all be boring for generation to come and live. Humans have to have something to keep themselves busy and make life worth living you know..
