75% of Jordanian wives disagree - they were beaten for being "rebellious".

A simple 'no, I can't actually find one person who has followed God's commandments in this Quranic verse' would have sufficed, instead of your fantastical flight of fancy imagining reasons why Jordanian women suffer domestic abuse.

When faced with the stark reality that your theory is not based on real-life examples - I guess you have to lash out with silly statements. It does get tiring though.

What theory are you referring to? I asked what is a rebellious wife.

Darn - I thought for a minute that you may have at last found one real life example of a Muslim man following God's commandments as per the verse you quoted in the OP, and that finally we could see what 'crime' the 'rebellious woman' had committed.

Alas, you are still in a miserable state of failure.

I am afraid though, many Muslima's donot agree with the chauvenist assessment of the male Muslims in this thread, as proved by stats from event horizon.

What do wives need to do to ensure their husbands do not suspect rebellion?

If people know how to make a relationship work then they do not need to worry about suspecting rebellion etc.
Instead of looking for corrective measures you should really look into preventive measures if you want to make your marriage a success story..

BM you're mature and clever lady, all you need is enough patience and concentration to bring yourself to the end of the lecture, so that you yourself can find out if it is "my way or the highway" so to speak..
